Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside! These Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Cheesy Breadsticks are packed with savory steak, melted cheese, and peppers. Perfect for sharing!
Ingredients
* 1 pre-made pizza dough
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
* 1/2 pound thinly sliced ribeye steak
* 1/2 small onion, finely diced
* 1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
* 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
* 1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
* 1/4 cup melted butter
* 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
* 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
3. Add diced onions and bell peppers, sautéing until soft (about 3-4 minutes).
4. Add the sliced steak, seasoning with salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
5. Cook until the steak is browned and cooked through (about 4-5 minutes). Remove from heat.
6. Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 1/4-inch thick.
7. Cut the dough into 6-8 equal-sized strips.
8. Sprinkle mozzarella and provolone cheese along the center of each strip.
9. Add a generous portion of the Philly cheesesteak filling on top of the cheese.
10. Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges by pinching them tightly.
11. Place the stuffed breadsticks seam-side down on a lined baking sheet.
12. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
13. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.
14. While baking, mix melted butter with Parmesan and parsley.
15. Remove from the oven and immediately brush with the butter mixture.
16. Let cool slightly and serve warm with marinara sauce or cheese dip.
