2 pounds Russet potatoes
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
Instructions
5. Preparation Instructions:
1. Wash, peel, and cut potatoes into 1-inch chunks. Boil in salted water until fork-tender (15-20 minutes).
2. Drain potatoes and mash until smooth.
3. Add butter, milk, cheddar cheese, sour cream, salt, and pepper to mashed potatoes. Mix well.
4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
5. Combine flour, Parmesan cheese, and bread crumbs in a shallow dish. Whisk egg in another dish.
6. Shape mashed potato mixture into puffs using a spoon, piping bag, or your hands.
7. Dip each puff in egg, then dredge in bread crumb mixture.
8. Place coated puffs on baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
